WHAT DOES AN AVERAGE DAY LOOK LIKE AT THE CAMP?
9:00am: Intros / Meet & greet
9:30am - 10:00am: Orientation or morning design exercise
10:00am - 11:00am: Guest speaker, workshop or tour
11:00am - 12:00pm: Guest speaker, workshop, or tour
12:00pm - 1:00pm: Lunch
1:00pm - 2:30pm: Project time with design mentor
2:30pm - 3:00pm: End of day recap & gratitude cards
WHAT IS THE COST OF CAMP? ARE THERE DISCOUNTS?
In-Person Camps: $1,495 per camper
Space is limited. Multi-week discounts are available, lunch and all supplies are included.
WHY SHOULD MY CHILD PARTICIPATE IN DESIGNER CAMP?
Your student will be exposed to a variety of design related careers and skills that can enhance their confidence in expressing their creative abilities. He or she will have the opportunity to build their design network by meeting our team of industry professionals face-to-face and connecting with other teens who share common interests. Your student will walk away at the end of the camp with a great start to their design portfolio and network, along with a certificate of completion from the program.
WHAT ARE THE AGES OF THE CAMPERS?
Our students range from ages 11 - 17 years old. Students must be going into 6th grade at the youngest to attend. Our camp is designed for young creatives who desire to work in the creative industries in their future, and we are here to support them in exploring the many options available to them.
WHAT KIND OF DESIGN EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED?
No experience is needed. We are looking for students who are passionate about design with a willingness to learn and engage throughout our workshops.

DO YOU OFFER SCHOLARSHIPS?
Each Summer we have been grateful to be able to offer a limited amount of partial and full scholarships for this upcoming summer. These scholarships are alloted for students whose families cannot afford the price of the camp. We are looking for creative students who are passionate about design, work well with others, and are excited to learn!
Due to further limiting the attendance and adhering to all CDC COVID guidelines we are unable to offer the same volume of scholarships. If finances are a limitation please email us at hello@designercamp.com.
WHAT KIND OF SUPERVISION IS PROVIDED?
A full staff is provided with a ratio of 1 camp counselor to every 8 students. Security is also on-call provided through the Pacific Design Center, Lido Marina Village, and Leica Store LA.
DO YOU OFFER EXTENDED HOURS?
We are not presently offering extended hours.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
Click register on the top navigation of our website, add the desired camp weeks to your cart, then proceed to check out. Space is limited. We recommend registering now. Once we hit capacity, we will open our waiting list.
WHAT ARE yOUR COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS?
Designer Camp is a boutique camp that can only accommodate a limited number of students in order to keep the experience personal, hands-on, and unique. As we meet in-person safety is our top priority. We will be adhering to all LA & Orange County Public Health guidelines as they stand. We will continue to adapt to match local mandates as they evolve.
